Welcome to Pudderpikenstrikk :-)

My name is Hege Nilsen and I am the general manager and owner of the company Pudderpikenstrikk.

I am born in Northern Norway and have lived most of my life in Tromsø. I spend most of my spare time in the mountains and nature around Tromsø. Outdoors activity, and knitting all year is my hobby, and I love the feeling all the unique moments life gives me. I am very found of photographing, and like taking outdoor and mountain pictures. 

The mountain and knitting are my lifestyle, my great passion and hobby. I have many years of experience with hiking in the area around Tromsø; spring, summer, autumn and winter, either on foot, snowshoes or skiing randonee/ telemark. I have years of experience with all weather conditions in the Arctic clima.

I also have a great passion for knitting my own design, cooking, my cabin and crossfit. I have designed over 50 sweaters, several hats, balaclavas and mittens. All of them have been given their own unique personal name, with their own storry for my company Pudderpikenstrikk. Take a look at my blog and learn more.
